This date was first marked in 1989 on the recommendation of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Steering Board, with the stated goal of policymakers to focus on the urgency and importance of humanity’s issues.

Each year a topic dedicated to a priority area of ​​interest is chosen. The theme of this year’s edition is “Family planning is a fundamental human right.”

RHTC has on its website 2 compartments devoted to this theme: : “Family Planning” and  “Sexual and Reproductive Rights“.

We invite you to visit these compartments to get a better idea of ​​family planning, modern methods of contraception, which methods fit you better, sexual and reproductive rights, etc.
